Death Must Wait Poem by Chris Embrick

Death Must Wait

To death I will not answer
although it knocks loud at my door
As long as one breath remains
I'll not concede this life is over
No, I will not wave the white flag
although the enemy's within sight
Death must wait to claim the prize
until I've had my share of life.
