I hope you are right and that 'death is a door opening into perfection'. You express optimism-better than despair and complete annihilation when you die.
'until the mirror remains clear glass' a reference to a test for death in an earlier era, I had never seen anone write this, the idea intrigued.
A release for some may prove a trap for others. Perhaps so many fear death, or convince themselves they can evade the inevitable is precisely, ironically, because they have never tasted ethics.

The last three lines convey an extraordinary understanding of temporal human life. Death is a release for the beautiful and the just to escape the turmoils of corrupt life.
This is what I believe about death also. Very moving. Time is short: eternity long.
