Death Death is a part of who we are, At times its like a shining star, Beckoning to it's guiding light, We must resist, 'Til the time is right. i suggest that you should reverse the positions of its and it's in the poem. i've made the same error when typing the possessive its. i just double-checked my American Heritage dictionary (paper book at that) under its. also, i used to use 'til for until. then something made me think 'til was incorrect and i started using till. now (in the same dictionary) i see that all three of the following are acceptable to use for until....... till, 'till, and 'til..........although some are more acceptable than others, especially at the beginning of a sentence.

Aivilo, i hope not everyone thinks that way (a reference to your poet's notes, above) well, i suppose it is ok if they do. i first thought about dying in my twenties.............not married and sharing an apartment with an older brother and not having much joy or excitement or fulfillment in my life. i still, forty years later, don't have what i call joy or much excitement in my life, BUT i usually feel content and fulfilled. that's after three divorces, one child, and a fourth marriage, and retirement from the post office. it goes back to what you wrote in your poem comparing life to a never-ending dream. luckily my life experiences have never been quite what i would refer to as nightmares. maybe not wonderful either, but, hey, life ain't perfect! now i've added you to mypoetlist. i like the way you seem to think and the way you express yourself.
