Dear Someone Who Matters Poem by Silence Dogood

Dear Someone Who Matters

Rating: 2.5

Dear someone who matters
This is your letter for the day.
I'll sign it with my blood.
Or is that not okay?

I'll tell you all my problems.
And how no one really cares.
I'll confide in you my secrets.
Cause I know your always there.

I'll tell you about my school.
And how no one can understand.
I'll tell you about my family.
Who despise my favourite band.

I'll tell you about my mother.
Who always sees my wrongs.
I'll tell you about the hatred.
And quotes from all my songs.

I'll tell you about the girl.
Who lived just down the street.
I'll tell you all the insults.
And exactly how we'd meet.

I'll tell you why i'm ugly.
And why I have no friends.
I'll tell you why I'm nothing.
And why this is the end.

I'll tell you I don't matter.
And trust you don't agree.
I'll tell you what it's like to live.
In a world where your like me.

And when I've finished writing.
I'll write you just one more
To have you know i'm still alive.
But knocking on deaths door.

And i'll fill all these blank pages.
For all the days to come.
For each and every day I hurt.
Is another letter I've begun.
