Red roses are queen of flowers and queen of our hearts tooo! ..Enchante..Winnie
When I read your poem I take it as you are a bit sarcastic? But no other comments refer to that, so I guess I may misunderstand you. You are so aware of this 'beauty dilemma': You can´t get a rose if you don´t accept the thorns. But - if the rose would leave you, you wouldn´t miss the thorns. A very romantic AND realistic poem - at the same time! Amazing paradox!
Inspirational, intense and excellent verses very well penned.
Wow, this poem is short, yet so beautiful. I love the closing. By the way, thanks for leaving me a comment earlier. : -)
simple and wonderful..thorn comes as a package with this exquisite beauty..10
You play with the words leaves that leaves the reader quizzical and puzzled for to unwittingly leave forlorn one who seemingly captures the mind and heart is the greatest sad tale of the human heart. Well written - arya
Dear Kesav Thanks for your nice comment.and you believe me that you have a sincere heart too. but about your nice poem...your writes always are full of youthful also your words are poetic.. and i love you for that a heart of red rose... Ramin
When colours beautify an individual's personality, the aura and mystic of the perfumed mind plays havoc on the romantic physiology that raves and rants for approval and attention. Perhaps a tandem struck and a response withheld but all the same the feeling leaves one more beautiful to the eyes, mind and heart of the other. Your acceptance of all that one is made up of spells your generosity. As an onlooker, I envy your stance. mandara
For those thorns under your leaves alone.... very nice and meaningful closing. thanks for sharing.
Your writes always succeed presenting the thoughts in an attractive manner, your words flow beautifully and create lovely poems!
Short but beautifully written Showered with rich words. Enjoyed reading it Thanks for sharing with me
the thorns are not visible because we are so captivated with the beauty and the fragrance of a rose or a loved one. a true lover accepts both with grace, a very mature message, Kesav. you have used the metaphor of rose brilliantly. Mamta
