Very well said Khairul - this is my first encounter with you, so I hope You will read me too. Love the way your poem looks on the page, quite intriguing.
'Love the way your poem looks on the page, quite intriguing.' - Thank you, Valerie Dohren. Much appreciate your reading my poem and commenting, which certainly I shall reciprocate. I was saddened as I read your sad poem 'Untitled'. The title too says a lot.
What a delightful heartwarming poem! The thoughts you expressed are surely felt by all of us. What I enjoy most about your poems is that you're always so open with your feelings, you never hide them. With each reading, your poems always seem to convey just a bit of your personality which in turn, produces a closeness in this brotherhood of poets,
That my poem has received so much of your attention, as is understood from your comment, is in itself a great satisfaction for me, @Beach Girl. Reading your kind words of appreciation, I leave my comment here, much more inspired to write better poetry. You haven't posted a new poem for a long, long time. Looking forward to reading some more poems from You. I think, I have completed reading all your poems here and commenting on them.
What a beautiful way of expressing your feelings and appreciating the fellowship with other poets. Through poetry we unite with each other. It is a pleasure to create a bond with you through your poetry. Thank you so much for sharing this lovely poem.
'It is a pleasure to create a bond with you through your poetry' - I feel so honored ma'm. Thank you! Much inspired by your comment. Just now, I've read your poem 'Random Thoughts-52' and left a comment there.
Will someone still read my poems Or re- read some old ones.....Your poems are always enchanting, and if those poems are not re-read by people, I don't know whose Poems will be read by us? I am eagerly waiting for your new poems...
Thank you, Mallika Achuthan Menon, for so sweetly appreciating the poem. I am highly elated. :)
wow what a poem, a new form with a new idea. you are the king of your poems thanks a lot.......very well done
'a new form with a new idea' - Thank you, @Tanya Gupta. 'you are the king of your poems' - Wow! Thanks again! A lot inspired by these appreciate words.
First of all I'd like to say, I really love the form of this poem! Thats always the first thing that catches my eye. Also on the topic of old ph poets, I know exactly how you feel. It really got to me when I discovered Ronberge, a ph poet, who also disappeared about 7 years ago(I wrote a poem called Death of a Netizen about it.) A lot of his poems were lost unfortunately. On the bright side though you are right, for most of us at least our poems will live on.
Thank you very much, @Nika Mcguin, for appreciating the format of my poem that caught your eyes. Thanks also for sharing your other thoughts on reading my poem and leaving this kind comment here. I am much obliged. I've just read your first poem posted on this site - 'Nobody Knows'. and left my comment there.
Through this forum, we begin to develop a bond with people separated by distance and time.... Though we haven't seen each other, I have at least a vague idea of who Mr. Khairul is! With each poem we come to know more and more of the poet, though true poetry, great critics say, should be an escape from personality! Yet there will be some personal elements scattered here and there. I feel happy to belong to a group who can understand each other. Your poems are always an inspiration and your comments have a special elan! Thaks for this expression of grateful and fine sentiments!
'Your poems are always an inspiration and your comments have a special elan! ' - I am highly inspired by this kind appraisal, Valsa! It has elevated my morale and motivated me to read and write more poems. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, which are much similar to mine, about this site and the poets of this site.
@Geetha Jayakumar, Thanks for the kind appreciation. I feel elated.
@ Beauteous Victory, Thank you for appreciating my poem so beautifully! You are always very quick to appreciate my works. On the other hand, I am usually so lazy to even acknowledge your kind words! It sometimes puts me into shame. You are my favorite too. I read your works, sometimes more than once. I do always eagerly wait for your poems and your comments. I am so glad that my poem 'deeply touched' you.
@Howard 'the motivational poet' Simon, Thanks for taking time to stop by, and leave your inspirational appreciation here. You've been very kind, my friend. Needless to say, my poem is addressed to truly motivational poets like you.
@Eesha Syed Thanks for reading my poem and leaving a comment here.
A Beautiful poem. Your each words, I wanted to tell. Very true said we develop a bonding through our poems, comments, messages and learn a lot from it. Very true said, our thoughts changed, many new things we learnt, help to discover meanings of life and yet to learn many more.....Poems and Poets will definitely be remembered. Wonderful write. I loved reading each lines. Thanks for this lovely poem....
Poems are eternal, poets may die but their poems live- poems create bondage that though we may not know each other that much there is something that we share which is unexplainable
You have explained that 'unexplailable', Naida. Poetry creates a bond among the poets that sometimes is much stronger than usually expected, that becomes like a family bond. Thank you for your inspiring and thought provoking comment, @Naida Nepascua Supnet.
