Dear Naomi Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Dear Naomi

Dear Naomi
you are The World Number One
since you came and won
our Serena was gone
one thing I want to wish you
much success in Olympic Tokyo
arigato so much for your great beautiful appearance
so beautiful and wealthy
that great Olympic Flame

glamorous and world famous
and yet with so much sincerety
I wish you more success in all Grandslams
it be on gravel, hard court or green grass
you're so very young yet too serious
one most important thing I wanna tell you
modesty adorns you, dear Naomi
happy weeks in Olympic Tokyo

from a fan in The Netherlands
