Dear Mother Poem by Alison Gaff

Dear Mother

Dear Mother you're missed more
With each passing day
Dear Mother we wonder
Why you went away

Dear Mother your presence
It's felt everywhere
Dear Mother your courage
Your kindness and care

Dear Mother we loved you
Though not often it showed
Dear Mother you loved us
And oh how it glowed

Dear Mother at peace now
In a world beyond this
Dear Mother please rest now
In calmness and bliss

Dear Mother you're thought of
With fondness and joy
Dear Mother, Our Mother
Love, your girl and boy
