Lead kindly into the night

In the eerie hours
of a lost midnite
humans remain out of site
someone may still lurk behind
in ones back of the mind

so as always I say
lead kindly into the night
with an unknown lover
be there no fright
you were given into being
a lover's own seeking

lead kindly into the nite
the world lays asleep
don't weep
stay awake

lead kindly in to the first night
be brave
all will know you were the one
the seed in which to sow
now you also do know

lead, yes lead kindly
into the solitary night
yes as brave hearts might
lead with full delight
into an unknown
forthcoming ensuing
memorably consuming
unknown night!
stay bright
you might! ! !

Lead, do lead kindly
into an unknown
unforgettable night
to night!
