Dear Imposter Syndrome Poem by Niko Nocturn

Dear Imposter Syndrome

Dear imposter syndrome;
day by day the same thoughts
they're haunting my brain
just let me be, leave me alone
you're driving me insane

Dear imposter syndrome;
I just want a normal life
I never asked to be like this
just let me be, leave me alone
your words are pushing me into the abyss

Dear imposter syndrome;
you're not welcome in my head
please get out of here
just let me be, leave me alone
yes, I'll admit it, I feel fear

Dear imposter syndrome;
you're welcome in my head
you give me the feeling of not being empty
please stay, don't leave me alone
everyone seems to be perfect except you and me

Dear imposter syndrome;
over time you've grown my comrade
and I wanted to thank you sor being
sometimes you give me the strength and that's what I need
even though I know I'll be bleeding

Thank You
