Dear Future Love. Poem by duke perry abrokwa

Dear Future Love.

Dear future love, yet to be found,
I search for you all around,
In coffee shops and crowded bars,
And even among the twinkling stars.

I've written this poem just for you,
Hoping you'll find it funny too,
For love should be filled with laughter,
And happily ever after.

I dream of us in silly times,
Laughing at our own love crimes,
Tripping over our two left feet,
But always ending in a sweet, sweet treat.

I promise not to snore too loud,
And I'll never wear a judgmental shroud,
I'll be your partner in all things absurd,
Together we'll be an unstoppable herd.

So, dear future love, wherever you are,
Know that you're my shining star,
I'll wait for you with open arms,
Ready to be bewitched by your charms.

Until the day our paths will meet,
I'll keep this poem as a little love feat,
And when we finally come face to face,
We'll laugh at how we found love in this crazy place.

So, dear future love, just a little clue,
I can't wait to share my life with you,
Let's make memories and have some fun,
Until then, I'll be the waiting one.
