Dear Bird Stop Poem by Sarah Mkhonza

Dear Bird Stop

She pecks on the little rodent,
as if ordered to do so and he stands
helpless in the middle of the road.
So confused as the long beak falls
rhythmically on the top of his skull.
I come to his rescue and take him
near the tree trunk under the tree
to hide him from this bird
To say bird, dear bird, stop!

I come to his rescue and take him near the tree trunk under the tree to hide him from this bird To say bird, dear bird, stop! Great effort..Who will teach this to channels like Animal Planet, NGC and Discovery? They would have video-graphed till the rodent is dead and eaten up. Thanks for the sensitive approach although in a lovely poem. Great human approach. 10 for it. Subhas
