Dead Spouse, Still Close Poem by james watkin

Dead Spouse, Still Close

As secure, attended by
On her walks, deep and lone
A hound, a german shepherd.
Leashed tiger; to leap prone.

Safeguarded by who's presence
If human, never strays.
And if but 'with the angels'
Is on the mind always.
