Dead Man Poem by Kelvin Rush

Dead Man

The dead man looks me in the eye
And reveals a dark desire
I'm lost and alone like a vulnerable child
In the midst of ice and fire

The dead man calmly holds out a hand
And offers eternal bliss
But this time I refuse to be in his command
Abuse is not something I will miss
