DAWN WILL CERTAINLY ARRIVE
Oh life, take me away
From the curse of intolerance and narrow mindedness
From the climate of hatred and discrimination
From the cries of oppressed and suppressed
From the tyranny of manuwadism
Oh life, take me away
Far off from the withered buds in gardens
Far off from deserted and desolate gardens
Far off from the exploitation of self centred politicians
Far off from the biased and unprincipled rulers
Oh life, take me away
From the never ending strikes and processions
From the atrocities of the gau vigilantes
From the crowded trains and unchecked deaths
From the daily occurrences of suicides by farmers and unemployed youths
Oh life, take me away
From the hungry and deprived souls
From the ghettos and unhygienic slums
From the exploitation of women and children
From the merchant of deaths and human kidneys
Oh life, take me where we value
Honesty and fellow feelings
Tolerance and belonging
Equal opportunity to all to excel in life
Treatment of authority as responsibility
Oh life, take me where we value
Music, songs and celebration
Urge to live with hopes in life
Burning desires to conquer new frontiers
Human dignity and humanism
The slogan of inclusive development be
an article of faith instead of mere ritual.
