Dawn Is Nigh Comments

This poem is a pure image poem; it doesn't have a message but there are implications. As the light of distant stars disappears the sunlight of our earthly world shines forth, SO we can be confident there will always be light from some distant or near source illuminating us. To me your poem is a kind of disguised praise-poem to the cosmic light embodied in the night stars and the day sun: this light of the cosmos will not fail us - we hope and pray.
