The narrative within the poem may be more impressive if it is expressed in the form of a short story than poem, however, The theme of the poem with its positive ending is precious.

Beautiful. Like Charley. You have captured it all. Charley was lucky she had a doting mom to catch her she slipped. Some of these life experiences help to make a person strong. The secret is to know when to quit and hopefully never go back.
