Daughter/Daughter-In-Law Comments

How true, a daughter and the daughter-in-law both are on the threshold, one about to leave and spread light elsewhere, and the other coming in, Both are daughters of course, not only in their families, but also the new ones they are going to make their own in course of time. On reading it and thinking about it, your poem gives rise to these thoughts. I've a daughter but my daughter-in-law more than makes up. A good haiku.

A daughter becomes daughter-n-law and takes care of another dynasty as well as her own father's dynasty. In Sanskrit a daughter-in-law is considered as, 'Duhita, ' which means a daughter who does well-being and brings fortune for both the dynasties she belongs. In one dynasty she takes birth and in another dynasty she gives birth to offspring becoming daughter-in-law. She takes care of both parents and in-laws. She brightens all. A great worthy poem is excellently penned.
