Date Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Date

Rating: 5.0

Date is the fruit of your labor,
After you have sown the palm seed;
You shall surely reap righteousness
If you shall scatter the good deed.

Date is the time of calendar
At which an occasion occurs;
It's either big or small event
That makes a poet pen a verse.

A good writer's best book to date
Is emotional engagement;
The rating is remarkably
Huge up to the present moment.

He has asked her out on a date,
To meet at a specified time;
Setting up a table for two
Is so romantic and sublime.

A brown, oblong edible fruit
Is truly sweet, good, and great;
And a particular period
Is brought to historical date.
