The things of darkness always more unpalatable than those of the light. I like how even the stars must run away, at the hideous sights and sounds.
Your powerful words could equally apply to the darkness (like night) described by those who suffered death and homelessness in last February's wild fires in Victoria. It would seem that nature's wrath can be felt in a myriad of guises all over the planet. Excellent poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
