This is beautiful Sandra… we might not know what our place or role is in this universe but the fact that we’re here is something we shouldn’t take for granted…..

Wonderful Sandra, very powerful indeed, it captures humanity to a T. We are tiny little beings compared to this massive universe. Profound Sandra, love it. Melvina

An impressive and beautiful poem! I especially love the second stanza. It makes one feel the enormity of the night and the mountain and our yearning to be a part of it all!

Sandra, you capture the awe of your mountains and the wonder of your humanity and hold them together between the width of your hands. I enjoy picking one of your poems at random - almost like a lucky dip - and unwrapping it. I have yet to be disappointed in the prize. Your images stay, like the after taste of good wine. love, Allie xxxx

We are so small against the majesty of nature, but you are right: we belong so long as we love and cherish this gift. In spirit, we are not so small after all.

Sandra, visual, spiritual and beautiful. The images in the second stanza spoke such purity: 'Hands clasp to lift a measure of that height. The gesture is as fragile as a kite Against the massive, polarizing night.' I'm adding this to my favourites - definitely one to savour. Warmest wishes, Justine

You embrace the cosmos - in your hands. A heartwarming poem, filled with joy. The imagery is truly wonderful. The reader is invited to embrace his own place in the scheme of things, while recognising the vast tapestry of the universe. Thank you, Sandra. A beautiful affirmation.
