Demons feeding the Darkness,
they dine off the a la carte.
Demons living the darkness
residing deep in her heart
There's space for the monsters to grow
as the nothingness makes her a void.
From the outside there's nothing to see
yet within all is slowly destroyed
Depressions a car crash..no air bag,
akin to guerrilla warfare.
Attacks when you least would expect it
leaving just silent despair
Demons so dark, deep, aphotic
prevent any light shining through.
She know that each day is a battle
and she fights it again all anew.
Thank you so much Amir for reading and you kind comments. Really appreciate it my friend
Depression! Deeply, painfully, Described, And, yes We get the message, Darkness, Where no light Can penetrate And unexplained Sadness, navigate. Painfully, but very well expressed and written. I am with you.

So much sadness exists and many struggle to keep it under wraps…My experience of this comes from living in a household where my mother struggled for the whole of her life fighting the ‘Black Dog’ Sometimes the unseen pain caused by this is often the most destructive. My heart goes out to anyone touched by this scourge. Thank you for your empathic words and clearly compassionate soul. Lodigiana xx
