Dandelion Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Dandelion

A dandelion sprouts up
In a manicured lawn
Home owner gets mad
Declares war on the weed.

Graceful dandelion finds
An undeserving end
As chemicals're sprayed
For total annihilation.

Elsewhere a farmer
Grows dandelions
On a large piece of land
For food and herbal value.

Dandelion's a plant
Useful from top to bottom
Flowers, leaves and roots
All good to eat for health.

Duality of life exists
In all forms everywhere
All objects living or not
Have their own roles to play.
