Dandelion
I am like a dandelion
Once pretty now ugly
and pieces of me fly away.
Either way i am a weed.
Pretending to be a flower doesn't change that.
I'm not valued or thought highly by florists,
but strangely I've found one that likes me....
Now I'm holding onto my pieces, and growing backwards,
but I don't mind.....
I was a weed,
but a perfect weed,
At one time.......
You take me back to that time,
Bit by bit, piece by piece
Very slowly you steal me back from the wind and more.
Eventually I'll be a beautiful weed,
and everyone can admire your work,
Maybe then they would change their minds,
and won't think of me as a weed.
Then maybe, just maybe,
I would change my mind too.
And then I'd be a true flower.
Time to blossom into your true beautful self, A rose may rise up through the confusion of life

i really like this poem. it explains that in life, you're looking for something. though unsure of what it is, you know how you want to be in the end. it's desperate for attention and i think fitting in. perhaps one day, you will blossom into the beautiful flower inside you. Everything in nature has true value.What is one persons weed is another person's flower. Try to watch your I's ok use the capital form of the letter I not i except in a word.

I have always liked dandelions- I think they're more beautiful than a daisy, or a daffodil- and I love this poem. Thanks Athena :)
