Dancing Lightly... Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Dancing Lightly...

Rating: 5.0

Into the wind, I Wish To Spin...Throw
Out My Arms, Again And Again...Swaying
From Side To Side, How I Love To Ride,
The Clouds So High. Freeing Whats Inside,
From Which I Hide. Shamed, , , And Sigh, As
Vainly I Try. So I'll Stick To The Skies...
Shut My Eye's And Ride, , , Dancing Away... Turning And Leaping Per Say...Just, , ,
Fay...Floating Away... On The Breeze, , ,
Ever So, , Dancing Lightly. Into The Sun
Setting So, Beautifully...With The Moons,
Beams Of Light On Me...And Fall Asleep...

Hi Rebecca, Another wonderful piece of poetry.... Loved reading... With The Moons' Beams Of Light On Me...And Fall Asleep- There is word in Sanskrit kara which has at least two meanings: one is the beams of light and the other, arms. Here I read kara' instead of beams of light in these lines and just imagine you falling asleep with arms of moon on you... I do believe that this is the image you also had when you wrote the poem.. That makes it subtly sensual. Good one..... Of course, I have to read these lines with: : : : : Shamed, And Sigh, As Vainly I Try. So I'll Stick To The Skies... Shut My Eye's And Ride, Dancing Away... Turning And Leaping Per Say...Just, Fay...Floating Away... On The Breeze, ... .... and this mild pause..., more than subtly sensuous... much more than that... the un-ending dance of love.... 100+++
