Dancing In The Rain Poem by Rare Gem

Dancing In The Rain

Rating: 5.0

On this gloomy night,
I danced away my sorrow,
As the rain washed me clean,
Which was quite relieving.

The scars I failed to reveal,
The tears I shed uncontrollably.
For the first time I felt so free,
Reducing the burdens weighing on my chest.

I had this strange likeness for the rain,
The raindrops synchronized with melody.
The rush of water from the sky,
Was enough to quench my burning heart.

That was what made it so special.
As I danced in the rain,
I felt unstoppable.
There, in that feeling of happiness,
I felt within.

As tears rolled down my eyes.
It washed away my fears,
Letting go of all my worries.
I felt alive.
I embraced the moment,
Breaking free from constraints
My life was made anew.

There's nothing like the cleansing of a good downpour. Especially when it washes tears away.
