Dancer Poem by Aqua Flower

Dancer

Rating: 5.0

She was a dancer
the music and movement fed her soul
she danced through life
and every strife
she moved with every season
till she woke up one morning
and couldn't move her feet
she couldn't hear the music
she was paralyzed with defeat
she can only dance now in her mind
longing for her life to rewind

'till she woke up one morning and couldn't move her feet she couldn't hear the music' These lines remind me of Agnetha Faltskog the blond female singer from ABBA. If I remember correctly she did 4 solo albums after ABBA broke up from 1982-1989, then stopped playing and listening to music for 10 years, just resting walking thinking.

Hi Terry, I was dancer when I was young. It breathe life into me. Song, dance and writing are like cousins, helping us to express ourselves. Thank you for your comment. Yes indeed we must choreograph a different dance as we venture into life's changing atmosphere.
