Dance In The Rain Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Dance In The Rain

Another storm comes in
She liked this kind of weather.
It made her forget for awhile
How hard she's trying to keep it together

Looking up towards the sky
Hoping for a better tomorrow.
Would the rain just stay
and help wash away her sorrow?

The dark sky all around
speaks to her broken heart.
As the rain hits her skin,
it keeps her from falling apart.

It washes away the troubles,
and gives her some hope to survive.
When the lightning strikes
it makes her feel alive.

It distracts her from reality
and eases up the pain.
The only thing that is saving her
is dancing in the rain.
