Dance and dance until we all see the beauty of your soul dear Gita. tony
So succinct yet profound that captures the essence of a wonderful art.
In the beginning I started dancing for my body but now i dance for myself Thank you mam for showing me the beauty of dance
I agree. Dancing relates to the soul as well as the body. A beautiful photo.
Dance for your sweet soul within. the feeling that the soul dances........ such thoughts bring me to mysticism.. thank u der Geeta. tony
Only one who dances to satisfy the longings of body and soul is a true dancer! Also one who employs his body and soul into the art alone can excel others. You have struck at the code of success in every art! Because of the ever flipping screen, making a comment is such a pain!
Thanks a lot Valsa. You are right. The screen is moving very fast.
I don’t dance, and I don’t have a sweet soul anywhere. But I like sweets, if they ain’t TOO SWEET! Are the photos of YOU, Geeta? Bri (:
Hi Bri, you don't dance nor you have a sweet soul. But you love sweets. Wow! Yes Bri. it is my photo.
What a beautiful beautiful poem Geeta! ! ! ! 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thanks a lot Susan both for your beautiful comment and vote as well. :)
The soul moves to the to the music, if you close your eyes and dance You can let your soul take you anywhere, same when you play music just let it take you to where your soul wants to go. A great write.
Thank you so much Dave for stopping by and for your nice comment.
So true, Akhtar Sahab. Any act that lacks the soul lacks the beauty.
WIth simple words you have explained the value of true Dance
Thanks Debosmita. A dance performed with 'bhakti' does not require any words
In simple words you expressed the true philosophy of a dance, it is not a physical exercise where body swings in rhythm of sounds but the soul makes it appear divine and meaningful. Perfection in dance does not come with practice alone but when you put your heart and soul into it the dance becomes meaningful. By the way your dancing posture is adorable.100 on 10.
Thank you so much Asim ji. Your reviews of a poem is not just a mere passing comment but an indepth study. Above all, it is really gladdens the heart with much joy. God bless you.
Use of dance as a penance offered in the quest for a meeting between atman(soul) and Parmatman(The Ultimate) , a meaningful exposition. Thanks for sharing.10+++
Thanks a lot Ratnakar ji for your meaningful review. Classical dance is a spiritual journey to attain moksha.
True Kostas! It is a matter of soul. Thank you so much.
Extremely meaningful words which reflect the true spirit of Indian Classical Dance traditions where body becomes a means for attaining truly spiritual heights. It's a kind of worship unto the Supreme Being. Thanks, Geeta ji, for such a nice poem.
Rajnish ji, your perception of a poem is always elevated with a higher mind. The body for dance is only a means to reach higher spiritual realm. Its a worship for all indian classical dancers. Thank you so much Rajnish ji for your wonderful understanding. Stay blessed.
When you dance Dance not for your body alone, Dance for your sweet soul within....so touching and true. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.
