Dame Spring, To Girl-Child Poem by james watkin

Dame Spring, To Girl-Child

A spoiling commitment
Least degraded by!
Whom, with a heart for beauty
Is virtue itself!

So let me, child, indulge.
And in Narcissi
Be ready, for what of it
Breezy bestowed is
In handfuls, through one's scent-kiss:
Of Dame Spring herself!
