Wow this is a wonderful poem. I hope he pays attention. Maybe he will read it and get a clue. I hope you work it out and remember this does not define you as a person. There are kids that grow up everyday without one or the other parent. You are hopefully loved with others around you to help fill in. Great poem!
I gave this poem a nine because it really hits home with me. Not because I had a daughter, but because I didn't. This poem makes me angry. Because I would have loved to have had a little girl. I have no sympathy for a man who leaves his children. Particularly one who leaves his daughter. GW62
I liked the message and the delivery. I feel this pain everyday, thru my children who father is absent in their lives. And I blame myself. I had no father to speak of either, although I dont, nor do I ever, remember missing him..Cause the father I did have, for the few short years he was in my life..caused me soo much pain that I would have rather he ignored me competly. It causes you pain..but it could be worse. Belive me.
