I can identify with this at least a little. It is very good and it tells it like it is. When a parent leaves your life early on and then tries to come back after you've grown up enough to think for yourself, it just sometimes doesn't work. You can't automatically give love to someone who wasn't there to build it with. Thank you so much for this poem.10+++++ -Autumn
