This was a lovely poem. A fathers cherished love must be very special, I wish you had the chance to know your grandfather.
This is so sad and I can most definitely relate. I am the youngest of four girls and my Dad passed when he was only 49. I however was 21 so I was lucky to have a little more time with mine than your mom did with hers. Either way though it is far too young an age for a father to be taken from his family. Love your wonderful and emotional poem!
Forever in memory, your pictures are on my shelves. I can feel what it is to handle at young age.
what a poem from the little girl talent has no age you have proved it worthy poem of the day
Beautiful Poem! ! ! That was really touching! I'm sorry for your loss. In a way I can sympathize with you..I have two poems That voice and those words, and Memory...which are similar. Please read them and let me know what you think in the comments
Reminds me of my parents...miss them...but to lose someone so young...its a brillant write....heart wrenching...no wonder its poem of the day.
An excellent poem. It depicts a true love between father and daughter. Thoughts are as pure as milk.
A beautiful poem, I feel your loss. But he's there always in your heart and watching over you, sweet dreams
This is a very heartfelt poem. It's good to remember your grandparents by honoring their memory, through poems or other narrative forms. This poem has a nice rhythm and I like it. Regards, ~Besa
Man, that's deep. It is admirable how much you loved your father. No doubt, he loved you just as much. Thank you for sharing!
