This was a lovely poem. A fathers cherished love must be very special, I wish you had the chance to know your grandfather.

This is so sad and I can most definitely relate. I am the youngest of four girls and my Dad passed when he was only 49. I however was 21 so I was lucky to have a little more time with mine than your mom did with hers. Either way though it is far too young an age for a father to be taken from his family. Love your wonderful and emotional poem!

Forever in memory, your pictures are on my shelves. I can feel what it is to handle at young age.

This is a very heartfelt poem. It's good to remember your grandparents by honoring their memory, through poems or other narrative forms. This poem has a nice rhythm and I like it. Regards, ~Besa

Man, that's deep. It is admirable how much you loved your father. No doubt, he loved you just as much. Thank you for sharing!
