Daddies Little Warrior Poem by Lewis Dever

Daddies Little Warrior

Rating: 5.0

In the quiet moments when the world is still,
I close my eyes and see you, my heart's own thrill.
Though miles may stretch between your world and mine,
Our bond remains, unbroken, through space and time.

Daddy's little warrior, brave and true,
With a spirit strong, and a heart that's pure.
Your laughter, like sunshine, brightens my day,
And in my thoughts, you're never far away.

Life's journey has us walking separate ways,
But my love for you, my son, will never sway.
I watch you grow with pride, from afar,
Knowing you're my bright, guiding star.

In dreams, I see the man you'll become,
Kind and wise, my little one.
Through every challenge, you stand tall,
A warrior in spirit, conquering all.

When you feel alone, just look to the sky,
Feel my love, like the wind, lifting you high.
For in every whisper of the breeze,
Is a father's promise, never to cease.

So, march on, my son, with courage and grace,
In my heart, you'll always have a place.
Though distance keeps us apart, you see,
You'll forever be Daddy's little warrior, to me.
