Composure lost but your witty response to ‘Cowboys do not cry; ’‘Not in front of their horses’ made me see you standing tall in front of the hardest day of your life.A moving tribute Alf
that's cool that your daughter is on here, wonderful poem, I guess it's inmortend to tell them everything and tell them what they mean to you. thanks for the reminder, i'm sure that your dad would love that poem if he could read it.
That is just so moving and beautiful Alf, what lovely sentiments in your poem. It is so sad to have to experience loss of parents, husbands, wives, children etc., but I think by doing so we learn so much more of life and the life to come. They are still with us in spirit and are watching over us during our remaining time on earth. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
I like your tribute to your father Alf, as usual a very good write. Bob
Ok, so this is the most beautiful poem I have EVER read! I love you Dad, more than words could ever express.
'So if you have a father, Love him, make him smile, God has only loaned him to you, For just a fleeting while.' Nice touching poem...
My dad was taken too soon too and for this precious poem I would like to thank you. It is wonderful to still feel that love and remember our loved ones who are smiling from above :)
a touching tribute...I can feel the sentiments....10
