My sentiments exactly, Esther...best ignored. They all tend to bite, if not...and most are certainly not amusing! hugz :) jack.
Penned with restraint, the brevity of this resounds. Great work Esther! Warmest wishes, Justine
I like it, NO, I LOVE IT! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Love Duncan X
A cynic is one who believes life should be lived for virtue alone. A critic is one who pauses to notice - and praise - your efforts. The crank - ach! you've got my number. This is just an excellent poem. I'm just ashamed that my comment is longer than the poem. I should have only said, 'Well done! ' Thanks. Will.
Ach zo, Esther, ve haf vays und means of making you talk. But for the time being?
I love this poem! It is so simple and yet all is said that needs to be! I love poems that have an open-ended but powerful message, where the deep meaning is left for interpretation and has many connotations to different people. This is one of them. It lets the readers fill in the blanks and gives us a 'hint' as to how you, the writer, feel. Keep it up! It rocks! Miranda S. Welch
Yep! Best to keep 'MUM' Esther, you never know who's listening. Good advice Chuck. Love Ernestine XXX
This is really gonna make a difference, and all those LLLLLs, very poor granmar, I can help get you published for a small fortune. I can only think you're talking about another site, surely not here? Daniel Carr Reynolds IV
Hee heee hee! It doesn't matter how you read poetry - as long as you do. Construcive crit is always welcome (and in my case often needed) , but all the blah blah blah talk it to death just kills the art. Well said - or not said as the case may be! Hugs Anna xxx
Written nearly a year ago I see, this poem is even sharper now than it was then - like a good gorgonzola. Yummy (especially with dried apricots) . love, Allie xxxx
