Cutting Comments

Honey your poem is a very powerful and heartfelt piece. Or it is to me I am pretty much life long cutter or so it appears as I have been doing it since prepubescence and I'll be sixty in a few months and have just gotten out of the hospital once more but I think my meds will work this time, how long remains to be seen but to anyone who cuts please be careful. Think about yourself. Care about yourself. I know it is hard sometimes.

I like this poem you put your struggles and demons in words on paper. Maybe this poem can help out other people with this cutting problems.

I used to be a cutter! My first cut was on my right wrist with a razor blade. Not good! I stopped (so far) 4 months ago. And it STILL comes back to haunt me.

I am intrigued by the depth of honesty you reveal to us in your poem 'Cutting' What you were/are feeling is parallel to how I've felt in the past. For what it's worth I believe one should always embrace love, yet also be conscious of the potential for pain it can inflict and never, ever allow love to convince you to do anything that will harm yourself. I don't know you personally, but I know that God loves you and with Him you are worth a value beyond measure. Keep your head up.

Way to write from your experiences, I often find that the best poetry comes out of one's deepest felt emotions and hardest circumstances.

This Jaryd guy sounds like the best thing that ever happened to you, because he stopped you from attempting to take your own llife.
