Bukowski was sometimes mad as a hatter... But the rest of the time a genius.

Yup it entertains many but sometimes you may irked by it. However, poet ideas swiftly drift floating on the air..

The best thing about this poem is when the curtains draw to a close.

Incisive critique of 'show business' and all its ghastly platitudes; courtesy of the delightfully cynical Charles Bukowski..

I have truly many of the same sentiments to this white supremacist theater called Broadway.

Appreciation accorded to a seemingly most successful musicals in spite of disinterest in such events since it is felt that it gives happiness to music lovers. A democratic view point, thus, well deserved modern poem of the day.

I agree with his thoughts about a long-running musical, which has finally come to an end. I have no time for movies in cinemas or stage musicals. I much prefer to watch my own music DVDs at home alone. Modern stage musicals are seriously boring. I like his phrase, 'trust me on this'.

I wonder what Mr Bukowski would have thought of so called entertainment on Saturday evenings here in the U.K.? ! I reckon he would have destroyed his T.V! I wholeheartedly agree with the cynical tone of this poem.
