The best thing about this poem is when the curtains draw to a close.
still, let them enjoy one another, it will keep them from my door and for this, my own thunderous accolade...... brilliant concluding. It is on of the beautiful poem of Charles Bukowski.

As usual Bukowski gets the bottom of the and the core of the matter in his usual terse way The poem is almost telling the reader to go away Great write
Such a great poem by Charles Bukowski.....................
still, let them enjoy one another, it will keep them from my door and for this, my own thunderous accolade.....so touching and impressive ending. A beautiful poem so nicely executed.
A thankful poem of being left alone by the dragon's fire? ......penned well
the image of parting and detachment from the world's insipid activities in this poem is depicted astutely.// great
Bukowski was sometimes mad as a hatter... But the rest of the time a genius.
