Curse Of The Rain Poem by tabasom azadee

Curse Of The Rain

life, what do you want from me?

Do I have to give you anything?
Is there a deal at all?

I want love from you.
What do you want from me?

My words? My breaths?

My sometimes tear-stained eyes?

My smiling lips?

Or my rebellious spirit?

I want love from you!

And I pay the price.

whatever it be.
But if you do not give me love
I curse you!
That your nights do not become days.

And your seconds do not pass.

Your fire becomes cool.
And your rain!

Oh rain!

How can flowers be smiling if it is not raining?

How do trees dress green?
If it does not rain, there is no spring!

And the desert replaces the meadows!

But if you do not give me love!

Maybe I will curse your rain too! ! !
