Curiosity Poem by Lovely Enchantress

Curiosity

Funny when I dare not to seek the truth, the truth seeks me
What does Law seek of me?
Maybe your closer than I ever thought
From the very beginning this one lingered around

Laid in the background a waiting serpent in the shadows
What lies behind false smiles
Your smile felt real to me in the flesh

From this one to that one, whatever warms your bed and brings you comfort
Friends to lovers, lovers to friends
This Law wanted to make a point and earned a cookie so long ago

Chasing a ghost that still haunts
Was it curiosity, I'm amused
