Lovely. Verses deeply exploring and imploring, thanks to your puppy. I like it, dear Fay. A well crafted and sensitive poem.
A lovely tribute to your puppy. My dog, Beau when over the rainbow bridge some years ago. But I still miss his company when I am writing poetry.I hope that your canine friend appreciates good poetry. Warm regards, Sandra
Just precious :) I love the lines 'Deeply exploring he/Whimpers imploringly' great sound. I'm a huge animal lover and just adopted my fourth puppy...a little chihuahua that my sister in law gave me. My poor hubby was hoping I would turn him down, but how could I. I have several other very spoiled furry children...boxer, boxer/pit, doberman, two cats and around 16 fish. They are quite a sight next to the chihuahua. Anyhow, I loved this poem. Pets are gifts and lessons in pure love. Thank you for sharing the love for your puppy with us.
This charming poem is a delightful comment on a segment of our society that are often overlooked in poetry, Fay, our pets. Dogs and cats, whether we like to admit it or not, are a big part of our daily lives, and each can be quite charming in it's own way. Growing up, I have had dogs and cats, and am one of those rare people who do not prefer one over the other. Your witty poem was wonderfully expressive and offered the reader an insight of how pet dogs can sometimes be. Carl.

I simply adore the opening line - irresistable. Excellent choice of words and metre. You have certainly brought this puppy to life - I can see and feel him. A gorgeous poem in every sense. S :)
