Cuckoo Sings Poem by Mohammad Younus

Cuckoo Sings

A cuckoo sings,
Hides behind a thicket of willow weed,
He resonates spring and summer,
Calling his beloved with his coos,
But you can't see his face,
Until he stops singing,
When it flies away from its song post,
Having at last spotted her love
