Cuckoo Poem by Anna Banasiak

Cuckoo

Rating: 5.0

tree bent over the water
looks at itself in a stream
reads my mind
I looked into my soul
and I trembled with fear
there in the distance the frog is croaking
dogs complain about their lot
Cuckoo counts my days
And I'm thinking of you
