Resplendently classic, Northover! You fleck Mother Earth's offspring with dovefeathered stroke. Vivid imagework, and darting vernacular all mesh into one literary burst of compelling work...Young lady, you continue to impress & satisfy. ~ FjcR ~

There is so much beauty in mother nature, especially along the river bank. This is very well written from the heart, and thank you for sharing your journey home with us. This reminds me of my poem 'The River That Flows'., a serene place I used to go in my teens, to ponder, write, and just sit. There is a calm in the water's ripples, and the wildlife that takes advantage of it. I agree with Duncan, you have a talent, so WRITE ON girlfriend. Love & hugs, Barbara
