Crying Again? By Gio Masserati

Crying Again?
Yes I am...

I wish I could tell you, 'Everything's Going To Be All Right'
Like our beloved Bob Marley, with his uplifting song
I do understand the pain that you're going through
Pain's different faces, although, from a different view
Pain is pain- through and through- regardless if in me or you
I'm sorry I can't be there with you- or do anything more for you
But pray- if I was there with you- I'd stay- I'd never run away
I'd hug you close and be there for you- with you

I'm not the woman that pretends all is fine
In public I am, mostly, but at home it's a different story
It's not always fine, sometimes I start crying
And keep crying and crying and crying and crying
Then just when I think I'm finally done
I go out in public and a shadow interupts fun
For hidden trigger tells me my tears are not yet done
I wish I could be sorry for this- but I'm not
I can't always be 'that girl' the one so full of cheer
Life always seems to have me shedding a tear
For love or joy, loss or death, pain or a friend's pain
The list goes on infinitely longer than poem remain

For inside my well of blue banged heart
I am crying silent tears of immense sullen sorrow
Part of tears are grieving for what's going on in Texas
Loving forgiveness witheld and for my own unforgiveness
Burnt red ring of fire that has multiplied so ferociously
Death's sting of legends quietly going off into the the night
All I know for sure is that today my eyes and heart can not stop crying
So as to release with them toxins of pent up fears, frustrations, and grief
That no longer will be left in my overly sensitive watering chamber
My blessed heart of secret solace under my Daddy's Consoling Wing

Heavenly Father, Please Cleanse My Heart With Your Lovely Tears!
Amen
