Too much of care and protection from the part of parents can often leave children quite ineffectual! They should be taught the art of standing on their own feet; otherwise, once when the parents leave, they will stay puzzled before the harsh realities of life! A very relevant theme, you have chosen and presented it well!

We all have a love and duty to protect our children from harm or perceived harm and wrap them in cotton wool. A lovely poem.
