Crumbled Poem by Gio Masserati

Crumbled

Crumbled it up...every last word
Then stopped, a thought, tears dropped, , , , , , , , ,
Threatening to erase
What was written, , , smudges turned black to shades of grey
Lines blurred, but saving me into forgiveness
Waving goodbye to the past, , , , , , , , , , , , , ,
Bitterness could never last
In these comforting arms of Love
Pure sweet love, , , sheltering me from the cold, , , need

Slowly, a salvaging, as tears were wrung
Began to hear a hint of a hummmm, , , ...
Humming songs previously sung
By you-by me

I continued on, opening up in song
Each word began lifting off
Like newborn birds singing
Each and every verse sang and
Rang beautifully of a forgiveness...
Soon, their tuneswere lighter,
Full of Joy,
Redeemed‼
