He asked his Father: " Why am I abandoned...? " And told his Mother: " Mother, do not cry.. enacting again the terrible crucifixion. lovely poem. tony

the HOLY SCENE - Only there, where Mother stood alone, None has dared cast a single glance. ///
beautifully penned! The gospel of John 19: 25-27 says, there stood by the cross of Jesus, His mother, & His mother's sister Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalane. When He saw His mother and and His disciple John standing by, He said to His mother " Woman, behold your son" & to John, " " Behold, your mother" .
2nd poem that I've read by her- - -she absolutely knows the power of a well-chosen word and a stark image
Beautiful imagery, so haunting and enchanting, so much in so few words. Very poignant
