the main strength of the poem is its thought and you are going on the way Ted Hughes went...the thought is super.. i love it...
i suppose adam and eve never saw human bones before. this poem was a nice little story, which is how i have viewed parts of the bible for many years. it has been decades since i was a believer and i did not remember that adam and eve were cain and abel's parents. i had to google the quartet, and, lo and behold, cain supposedly continued the human race by gettin' together with his sister. i'm glad i had heard before the, to me, strange term for a group of crows, though i had forgotten it. i guess we have more murders in our neighborhood than i had thought. thanks for sharing.
