Crown Of Glory Poem by Phil Daniels

Crown Of Glory

Do you wear a Crown
Or do you wear a frown
A face covered with a smile
Or a broken fractured dial

For if you wear the Crown of Christ
It is a gold that none can heist
The world may steal your toys
But, never, never your eternal joys

Deep inside there should be a peace
That will never, never cease
So do you wear that Crown with pride
Your head in the clouds to hide

You can do nothing this Crown to earn
Nor for the jewels which brightly burn
For nothing is done without Christ
His Glorious person you cannot feist

So if this Crown that you do wear
Isn't humbly fitted then beware
True Saints will cast them at His feet
Him upon His throne, His seat
